Experience Designer

I'm an experience and motion graphics designer proficient in 3D apps, libraries, and creative coding using Javascript and Python. I create textures and motion using tools like P5.js, Hydra, and Processing, while employing Blender and three.js for 3D work. I utilize After Effects for sequencing, Figma for storyboarding (I Figma!), and Illustrator for image processing. 

For live coding performances, I prefer Visual Studio. 

Currently expanding my skills in C#, OpenGL, Unreal Engine, and AR/VR. 

By day, I serve as a Digital Experience Product Manager.

01 GRAY/V VISUAL EXPERIENCE

Gray Area hosts a quarterly event “GRAY/V” to showcasing electro acoustic sounds and improvised visuals synchronized across three screens.  

My approach was to use a variety of methods to create textures and visuals. I used Hydra Video Synth, P5.JS, and created 3D visuals with Blender. For this event, I decided to manipulate the visuals live with Hydra Video Synth. 

In preparation, I storyboard in Figma with visual inspiration, developing foundational layouts and approaches, selecting image and video samples, and develop code and renders based on the vision. Each music set had a distinct visual experience based on the music.
